According to BVOnline, "While the magazine's loyal readers have found little fault with the sexy photo of the running back for the New Orleans Saints, many are (angrily) questioning why editors chose to put Bush, who dates the decidedly not black Kim Kardashian, on the cover of the love and relationships issue of a magazine dedicated to black women." Why would Essence readers be so up in arms about the cover? Is it because fans of clean-cut Reggie Bush are disappointed that he is dating an amateur reality/porn star?
