Steve Harvey: Pedals Towards New Male Mentoring Mission

As if Steve Harvey hasn't already accomplished everything in the book, the muti-talented funnyman is embarking on yet another mission.

As part of National Mentoring Month, 'The Steve Harvey Morning Show' host is currently pedaling up to four hours daily via an exercise bike as part of a new initiative called 'Fit and Fly.'

Morning show listeners can tune in every weekday from 6 am - 10 am to help inspire the comedian while he pedals his way to a mission of raising $1 million to expand his Annual Father's Day Mentoring Weekend to nine other cities, in addition to mentoring 1,000 boys in 2010.

Last June marked the first year of Harvey's Mentoring Weekend, which brought together 100 boys ages 13-18 and their guardians to Harvey's Dallas ranch during Father's Day weekend of various experiences.

"That weekend in 2009 was a life-changer, and I am going to keep pedaling to make the Mentoring Weekend bigger and better this year," Harvey said. "How long can I keep going on this bike? Join me to find out! I'll get tired; I'll get thirsty, but ... I will keep going as long as it takes."

Listeners can tune into 'The Steve Harvey Morning Show's live broadcast or watch the show's live webcast on www.SteveHarvey.com.
